Our tech specialist Hans Peter Ochsner just fine-tuned a Phase One Digital back for a client, inserting micron-level shims into the adapter and verifying everything on ALPA’s own measurement bench.

We are using a special SchneiderTele-Xenar lens calibrated to 1/100th of a millimeter, together with our proprietary 30,000 CHF temperature-stable glass-fibre bench.

With this setup we can measure and adjust with highest precision.

Like a swiss watch, a service of your ALPA Camera is recommended every 3-5 years, depending on the conditions in which you use the camera. A service includes servicing the bearings, the rollerbearing guides, adjusting the camera movements, calibrating the Digital Back, cleaning the camera.
