Fernanda del Villar
New ALPA photographer portfolio

We are happy to see Chilean architect-turned-photographer Fernanda del Villar featured on Women Photographers History – a channel dedicated to elevating women’s voices in photography.
Co-founder of alesondelvillar (with Adrian Aleson) since 2019, Fernanda brings structural precision and contemplative calm to architectural photography. Working between Madrid and Santiago, she’s documented 100+ projects across Chile and Spain and explores how changing cities and landscapes shape perception and belonging. Her toolkit spans analog and digital medium/large format.
Most recently the ALPA 12 SWA (from 6×7 analog to a Hasselblad digital back). Fernanda about her ALPA Camera: “The shift movement allows me to keep architecture straight and precise, while its modular system gives me the feeling of having multiple cameras in one.”
