Jan Friese was born 1976 in Mülheim an der Ruhr.

After Peter Lindbergh told him that he is already a Photographer and don’t have to assist him, he decides to study Photography at the Folkwang Hochschule in Essen.

A numerous publications in Magazines such as Zeit Magazin, SZ Magazine, brandeins and Sleek generate him the attention of Intersection Magazine, which combines cars, fashion, design and art.

‍

After longstanding Cooperation with Intersection, Jan attracts attention from the global automobile industry. Jan strives to remain as innovative as possible and his cutting edge style enabled him to shoot campaigns for brands like Mercedes Benz, Audi, Lamborghini and Mini.

Jan lives in Berlin and the County Side of Brandenburg.
