ALPA connects to Hasselblad X Cameras
Newly Introduced Product

With the introduction of the ALPA adapter HXD, users of today's and future Hasselblad HxD cameras have access to various ALPA lenses and lens modules. The adapter allows using high-quality ALPA/Rodenstock optics from 32 to 180 mm on the Hasselblad X camera body. Depending on the combination, technical movements and multiple stitching beyond 100 megapixels become achievable.

By introducing the electronic shutter in the Hasselblad X1D and the camera's advantageously short flange distance, a wide range of high-quality ALPA-Short-Barrel lenses (SB-Mount = lenses with shortened lens board) became accessible. The ALPA platform's high modularity opens up a wide range of combination options for optics from 32 to 180 mm focal length. Besides the suitable ALPA HR ALPAGON and ALPAR glass, the user can now attach lenses for Hasselblad V, Pentax 67, and PL mount via the respective ALPA lens modules. The design of the adapter allows easy and safe mounting.

Since the X-cameras can also be attached directly to ALPA bodies via this adapter, multiple stitching and movements become feasible when using an ALPA camera body and SB 34 lenses. Images of the 50 MP sensor grow to 100 MP in the blink of an eye. Lenses with a large enough image circle are provided. Stitches up to 9-fold and higher are possible. A corresponding overview of the possible combinations is available online on the product page.

The effortless aperture priority mode of the X cameras makes working with this combination a charm. The electronic viewfinder and the large display allow reliable focusing by zooming and focus peaking.
