Cultural Heritage

__

Everything necessary for the conservation and archiving of historically significant or culturally influential works of art and contemporary witnesses.

Definition

Almost every museum and archive need a photographic or an imaging/digitization department responsible for producing digital "copies" of their original documents and works of art today. Paintings, drawings, manuscripts, books, documents, and even plant/animal fossils are all examples of subjects currently undergoing digitization.

One of the significant benefits of high-resolution raw digital files is that they provide immediate, unlimited access to the items without any risk of damage and the cumbersome logistics involved in transporting such sensitive materials/or the researcher's travel.

ALPA is offering equipment for the most demanding tasks in cultural heritage photography. One of the significant advantages is the variety of solutions and the possibility of using the studio's cameras and all over the museum or outside.
