We have tested the performance of an 8-element Macro-Switar 1.9/50 mm in close range. The historical lens can be focussed via a helical mount with an extra long travel to the scale of 1:2. The lens was produced from 1970 to the 1980s in just over 6000 copies. This corresponds to around a quarter of all 50mm lenses manufactured by Kern Aarau under this name for Alpa.Macro-Switar 1.9/50 on Phase One IQ3 100
