Miles From Los Angeles will be the First Photo book from Cheyne Walls.Award-winning fine art photographer, Cheyne Walls has launched a Kickstarter campaign to crowdsource funding for his first photography book, "Miles from Los Angeles." The photo book will feature Cheyne’s signature panoramic landscape images each captioned with the location and distance from Los Angeles, the launching point of most of his photographic trips. This October, with enough backers, these images will be made into a 128-page photography book.“I enjoy living in Southern California for many reasons, but above all its stunning beauty and the diverse regions that surround it. This book has been in the works for years with an idea of capturing these unique and magnificent landscapes,” said Walls. “All the locations are only a day’s drive or, as in the case with Hawaii, an easy flight from Los Angeles. Some of these places are a bit of a long drive, others are very close, but all locations are completely worth the travel.” "Miles from Los Angeles" will be available in softcover, hardcover and a limited collector's edition. The book will feature over 150 photographs from Walls’ favorite locations in Utah, Colorado, Oregon, Arizona, Nevada, Hawaii and his home state of California. Rewards for this project include copies of the books, framed prints and more.Walls continued, “My goal with this book is to showcase the beauty in this area and also to inspire others to get out in nature and experience these locations for themselves.”ABOUT CHEYNE WALLSPhotographer Cheyne Walls specializes in panoramic images of the Northern American landscape. Walls, a southern California native, received a degree from Brooks Institute of Photography.
