New book , passport photos - landscapes of the Alpine passes' was published by Frederking & Thaler publisher.Photographed with a [|ALPA 12 MAX]Since 2008 Berthold Steinhilber photographed the most important Alpine passes: the Roman roads through the medieval mule tracks to the fascinating road passes of the 19th and 20th centuries. The images of the 77 alpine passes show the changes in the landscape and the essence of each pass: its passport photo.There are now more than 200 images in the printed book.
